 4/20 - If you're not personally familiar with Cannabis culture, you might assume that this date is just a silly stoner holiday, invoking images of Cheech and Chong and their shenanigans. In some cases, you are absolutely correct. What lies at the heart of this day however, is community. Regardless of our differences - politics, religion, social status, etc. We are all united in one simple way; our appreciation of this God given herb, and its healing properties. 

Another thing that unites us is food, and our need for it. When times get tough, and tough times always find a way into our lives, it's time for community. Whether you're helping a family member with a meal, or a friend who has fallen on hard times, you're doing your part. 

The Waldoboro Food Pantry expands on this idea. They collect, organize and distribute food to any in the area who need it. Their value to the community can not be overstated. As food prices continue to soar, there's no time like the present to help them with what they do.

So what can we do to help? Well, it's pretty simple. They need food, and money to operate. 

Here's what we're going to do. If you bring in 3 or more unexpired items/canned goods, we're going to give you a free 3pk of prerolls ($30 value) - Bonus points if you bring items on their most needed list below.

We're also going to be slinging pulled pork/chicken sandwiches free of charge from 11am - 2pm, while supplies last. Donations are welcome, and all proceeds go directly to the Food Pantry.
